Before
A poster for a series of art classes called “The Artist’s Palette” offered by Buena Vista Public Library.
Before I was on staff the classes had all the parts to see success, but the visual messaging in print, digital and social media efforts fell a bit short.
After
A poster for the same class after I joined the team.
In Summer 2023 the class saw an uptick in attendance through better visual presentation, hierarchy and marketing across social channels.
Promotion through visually consistent and clean physical print posters, bookmarks email newsletters, Facebook and Instagram posts all helped elevate the message the library had to share.
Photography
I love event photography. Its exciting, fast and all about telling the story with a set of visuals. For Buena Vista Public Library it plays a key role in marketing efforts – showing the community what The Library has to offer and justifying what the community is paying for. For the Colorado Trout Unlimited Youth Camp it means capturing their efforts to educate youth on river conservation in the west. For you and your family its maybe the best way to tell the story of those special moments that only happen once.

I’ve managed social media accounts in a wide variety of spaces with a wide variety of goals and demographics. I’ve seen numerical success in the Outdoor, Snow, Non-profit, Food and Beverage, and Entertainment spaces to name a few.
