Those are the words of a past camper and the echo in my mind each camp I have the pleasure to attend. This isn’t just a fly fishing camp.

At the 2025 CTU camp, campers were able to learn that the fate of our rivers, mountains, and forests is ours as well. Campers were able to learn that collaborating for healthy landscapes and rivers is to work for a healthy future for themselves and their communities. They built friendships and started a relationship with advocacy for water that will hopefully last a lifetime.  

These lessons – these connections – are the things I hope campers are able to bring with them from the CTU river conservation camp. Hopefully these photos are a small way to capture some of that.
