A Vail Pass
Photo Story

Here’s a photo set from an early season day on Vail Pass. Smiles all around. Skiing really is all about the people you take with you. It’s not so much where we are, but who we are with.

In Colorado we spend a lot of time seeking out low angle terrain due to avalanche hazard. This year is turning out to be no different than any other. By December 8th most aspects already have a serious persistent weak layer. Shooting photo stories like this helps add another dimension to a day of chasing safety and fresh turns in the backcountry.
